I’m Jacob K Thomas, the person that has a lot of things that I like to do, but getting them all done has been a challenge, isn’t that the story for a lot of us. I love to cook, bake, make drinks, and write about it, plus other topics. Experimenting with different cuisines makes me enjoy life to the fullest.

I was born and raised in Detroit, MI. My love for my hometown never wavers, as it is truly a place to see and experience. It is what my culinary foundation was built on. I spent almost 10 years living in Germany, where my passion for travel really expanded.

Living in Germany allowed me to experience what life can truly be. It also made me want to search out so much more than I ever knew I wanted to have.

I’ve been featured on The Food Network, where my recipe for Jake’s Explosive Double Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake was on Emeril Live. Profiled in several newspapers around the country. Along with having recipes that have been on Food52.

From the love of all thing’s food, I’m a photographer, where I’ve had photos featured on Buzzfeed, Unsplash, and here on Medium, among others.

My goal is to inspire while I attempt to create and expand myself along the way.
